I grew up in a small town in Mississippi called Poplarville. Although my parents didn’t attend church regularly, I was blessed to have grandparents who made sure I knew about Jesus. My Mamaw and Papaw took me to church and laid the foundation of faith in my life. But like many, I drifted away as I got older. It wasn’t until after the birth of my oldest daughter that I found myself returning to church—this time as a mom with a new purpose. We went on Sundays and Wednesdays, joined in on all the church activities, but deep down, something still felt missing. At the age of 27, I surrendered my life to Christ and was baptized. That moment changed everything.
I’m married to my best friend, Craig. We’ve been blessed with two beautiful daughters: Caleigh (26) and Annalise (10). Yes, they are 16 years apart! Caleigh has added even more joy to our family by marrying Max, who we’re proud to call our son.
Professionally, I was a dental hygienist for 21 years. In 2021, after much prayer, Craig and I decided I would leave my career to homeschool Annalise. In 2024, we moved to Virginia Beach and started attending Coastal. I’m excited to grow in faith, serve, and build meaningful community here at Coastal.
