Serving Opportunities

Creative Ministries Team
  • Praise Team Member (Sunday mornings and rehearsal one night a week)
  • Worship Tech Team (Sunday mornings and rehearsal one night a week)

First Impressions Team
  • Welcome people in Lobby and doors (45 minutes)
  • Parking lot attendants (45 minutes)
  • Ushers and Greeters (45 minutes)
Hospitality Team
  • Set up the refreshment table (30 minutes)
  • Takedown the refreshment table (30 minutes)
  • Serve refreshments prior to service (45 minutes)
Coffee Shop
  • Cashier, Prep, Orders, Barista

Check In Team
  • Welcome and assist families with Coastal Kids check in.
Greeters
  • Welcome all families and assist new families in finding their children's classrooms.
Security Team
  • Create a safe environment and be the eyes and ears of Coastal Kids.
Infants - Toddlers
  • Protect and care for our youngest Coastal Kids. 
Twos
  • Small Group Leader: Lead the class through craft, snack, games and build connections with children.
Preschool (3 - Pre K)
  • Large Group Leader: The Master of Ceremonies for Coastal Kids. Provide an engaging learning environment for preschool children through elements of drama, music, games and other activities. 
  • Small Group Leader: Oversee a small group of preschool children. This is more of an intimate setting and allows for relationships to build as well as a chance for children to dig deeper to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Elementary
  • Large Group Leader: The Master of Ceremonies for Coastal Kids. Provide an engaging learning environment for children K through 5th grade through elements of drama, music, games and other activities. 
  • Small Group Leader: Oversee a small group of elementary children. This is more of an intimate setting and allows for relationships to build as well as a chance for children to dig deeper to grow in their relationship with Christ.
Special Needs
  • Be a one-on-one buddy to a special needs child.
Tech Team
  • Oversee set up and operation of the media element of the CK program.
Drama Team
  • Bring the large group lesson to life through drama.

LIFE GROUP LEADER
  • These are the adult Leaders who spend time weekly preparing and then leading the Life Group discussion at our midweek meetings. It is also expected that a Life Group Leader will spend 2-4 hours a month organically with people in their group. (Middle School or High School)
SUNDAY MORNING LEADER
  • Sunday Morning Leaders are there to hang out, engage with and love on students. This means playing games, drinking coffee and helping to lead table discussions. The ultimate goal of the  Leaders is to connect students with each other and with their Life Group Leaders in order to bridge the gap between our Sunday and midweek experiences. (Middle School or High School)

LIFE Group Leader
  • You can lead a group focused on loving God, impacting others, finding time to play, and engaging authentically. There are options for men's groups, ladies' groups, and groups for couples or families.
Prayer Ministry
  • Be a part of an e-prayer team.
  • Write encouraging notes to members and attendees.
Support Ministries
  • Make phone calls for special occasions.
  • Shop for supplies for various teams.
  • Plan and coordinate special events.
  • Provide financial contributions for special scholarships.
Meals ministry
  • Provide meals or individual items as needed by families.
Office Volunteers
  • Join others on Thursday mornings about 9am for a time of fellowship while folding weekly programs for Sunday worship, collating materials for Coastal Classes (monthly activity), and other tasks as needed.
