For as long as I can remember I have been attending church, and when my parents and I moved to Virginia Beach in 2004 we found Coastal and called it our home. I grew up in Coastal’s youth ministry and consider myself blessed to have had so many mentors and leaders guide me in my relationship with Christ throughout the years. Throughout my time in Coastal's student ministry, I volunteered in many different areas of Coastal Kids. There is something about seeing the love of God through a child’s eyes that sparks joy in my heart.
I attended Liberty University and received my degree in Elementary Education. I have always had a passion for teaching children and knew from a young age I wanted to be a teacher. I am now a 5th grade teacher and loving every minute of it!
When I am not teaching, I love going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and reading a good book!
